Product images shown on this website are provided for illustrative purposes only. Digital reproduction of surface colours, veining and finishes is inherently imperfect: monitors and mobile screens display colour differently depending on hardware, calibration, ambient lighting and image compression. We strongly recommend requesting physical samples before making a purchase decision. Under no circumstances should a screen image be used as the sole basis for a colour or pattern selection in a build-out.

3. Natural material variation

Natural stone products — including marble, semi-precious slabs, and other quarried materials — are unique. Colour, veining, vein density, background tone, patch distribution and translucency vary naturally within a single quarry, within a single slab and slab-to-slab. Photographs and even physical samples represent a single point-in-time appearance of a specific piece. Our engineered quartz and digital tile products are manufactured to greater consistency but small batch-to-batch variation is inherent to any pigmented industrial process. We hand-select slabs against approved samples where feasible; we cannot guarantee an exact match.

4. Product suitability

Different Oreana products are designed for different applications. Not every material is appropriate for every use — for example, our engineered quartz is not recommended for exposed outdoor installations because polymer resin binder is susceptible to UV degradation over time. It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that the product they order is suitable for the intended use, substrate, environmental conditions and design load. We are happy to advise, but final specification responsibility rests with the project's architect, engineer or specifier.

5. Technical data and specifications

Technical properties (density, flexural strength, water absorption, PEI rating, slip rating, etc.) shown on this website are typical values based on standard testing methodologies (EN, ISO, ASTM, DIN). Individual batch data may vary within stated tolerances. Buyers requiring guaranteed properties for a specific project should request a certified batch report at the time of quotation.

6. Care and maintenance information

Care and maintenance guidance is provided as general good practice and reflects our best understanding at time of publication. Individual installations may present specific challenges — unusual water chemistry, atypical usage, combined material assemblies — that require adapted guidance. Consult your fabricator or our care team for advice specific to your installation.
