Our surfaces are engineered for a long, beautiful life. This guide covers the daily rituals, weekly checks and occasional interventions that keep them looking their best — organised by material.

Quartz Stone Marble

Daily care

• Wipe surfaces with a soft microfibre cloth and warm water at the end of each day of use.
• For stubborn residue, use a pH-neutral surface cleaner (dish soap or a proprietary quartz cleaner). Rinse and dry.
• Wipe spills promptly — although quartz is non-porous, pigmented liquids (turmeric, red wine, beetroot) may leave surface film if allowed to dry.

Weekly care

• Give the entire surface a full wet-clean with pH-neutral cleaner. Agitate gently with a soft non-scratch pad. Rinse thoroughly.
• Check for any dulling or film residue in high-use areas around the sink and cooktop.

What to avoid

• Never use bleach, oven cleaner, drain unblocker, methylene chloride, hydrofluoric acid or any highly alkaline product. These will permanently damage the resin binder.
• Never place hot cookware directly on the surface. Always use trivets — quartz can withstand brief heat but sustained direct contact with 250°C+ cookware can cause discolouration.
• Never cut directly on the surface. Quartz will scratch your knife long before your knife scratches the quartz, but repeated cutting will eventually leave visible marks.

Stain removal

For persistent stains, apply a small amount of soft-scrub cream cleanser (e.g. Cif, Bar Keepers Friend, VIM) to the affected area and rub gently with a soft pad. Rinse thoroughly. If the stain persists, contact our care team — do not use abrasive powders or steel wool.

Marble & Semi-Precious Stone

Daily care

• Wipe with a soft microfibre cloth and warm water. For heavier soiling, use a pH-neutral marble cleaner.
• Respond to spills immediately — acidic liquids (wine, citrus, vinegar, tomato) will etch marble in under 60 seconds. Blot, do not wipe, then rinse with water and dry.
• Use coasters under drinks, trivets under hot cookware, and cutting boards for food prep.

Sealing

Marble and semi-precious slabs are porous and benefit from an impregnating sealer. Reseal every 12–18 months for residential kitchens, every 6–9 months for high-use commercial installations. Perform a water-drop test to check sealer effectiveness: if water beads up, sealing is fine; if it soaks in and darkens the stone, reseal.

Stain and etch repair

Oil stains: apply a paper-towel poultice soaked in 3% hydrogen peroxide, cover with plastic wrap, leave overnight. Organic stains: same poultice with acetone. Light etches: use a marble polishing powder and gentle circular motion. Deep etches: professional re-polishing required.

Digital Porcelain Tiles

Daily care

• Sweep or dry-mop to remove grit and dust. Wet-mop with warm water and a pH-neutral tile cleaner as needed.
• For grease and cooking splatters, use a mild degreaser and rinse thoroughly.
• Do not let dirty mopping water sit — always rinse with clean water after cleaning.

Periodic care

• Every 3–6 months, deep-clean grout lines with a soft brush and a proprietary grout cleaner. Reseal grout if it is showing wear.
• For high-gloss polished tiles, avoid abrasive scouring — use pH-neutral cleaners and soft microfibre.
• Structured (R11/R13) finishes benefit from periodic scrubbing with a stiff-bristle brush to lift dirt from surface texture.

What to avoid

• Waxes and coatings — digital tile surfaces do not require sealing and coatings will build up and dull the finish.
• Highly acidic cleaners on polished-finish tiles — they can dull the glaze over time.
• Steel wool and abrasive scouring pads.
